Wii Motion Plus will be released on June 8 in NA, June 12th in Europe

Wii Motion Plus bundle with Wii Sports Resort will be released on July 24 in Europe, July 26 in NA

Couldn't there be a better way to demo WM+? I mean, it is for the more hardcore audience, right? Shouldn't they appeal to the demographic here?

First there is no better way to demo it because there are no other games ready for it yet.

Second, the interested audience is us. They dont need to appeal to us. At this point we already don't care.

From what I know, the only other game that will support this is that EA Tennis game.

Regardless, I will be buying this. Not when it comes out but when the bundle releases.

I will get it after a game comes out that I want for it. That will probably be 2010.

The new Virtua Tennis game which launches before Wii Sports Resort is Motion Plus compatible.

Uh, that's not what I'm saying...

The reason this is ready for WM+ is because Nintendo decided to demo the tech by developing this game. What I'm asking is, why didn't they develop something a bit more hardcore to demo technology that is supposed to introduce true 1:1 which is what the hardcore audience have been asking for since the beginning.

Contrary to popular belief there is still a hardcore group that has faith (however small) in Nintendo.

I'm hardcore and I have faith a few games will come out for me. Just not many, the will go for money with the casual crowd the rest of the time. More power to them. As long as 2 or 3 times a year I get games worth playing on a system which was (when I bought it) less than half the price of the competitors.

I think the fencing game is meant to be the big tech display for the WM+ though. The reason they didnt put in more effort I suspect is because they know this mini-game set of tech demos are what the casual players will buy in the same way they bought WiiFit and WiiPlay.

Consider me satisfied.
I'm picking up motion plus. With the bundle or without depends on whenever i get the money.
