Okay everyone, I'm thinking of a few bits to move the village to a better, more secure state.

Here's the deal.

1) Town hall - I would create this in the corner near the cactus trap (probably covering where the trap currently is). I would have some of the community stash in there as well as extra boxes for shared resources. I would also move the enchantment thingie in there aswell.

For this I would need a lot of sand or sandstone. Like other projects I'd need you guys to chip in as a community.

2) Rear automated gate - This would likely be where the jumping pillars are at the moment. A fully functional gate with a lever on each side, like the front gate.

For this I'd need sandstone, like the town hall. Any sand block will do that isn't stairs or half blocks.

3) Fully lit town, monster free - This would be to expand on the current lighting I've already placed in the village. This would ensure we have no monsters spawn in the village at night.

I would need a lot of glowstone for this, so this would be the most ambitious one, but people would feel a lot safer.



There's only so much I can do guys. The community of Up Up Down Downton would need to support this. So tell me what you think everyone.

I don't know about you but when I start building on the server I am going to be doing my own thing. I usually go ham and provolone on Minecraft so if I have spare resources I'll see what I can trade.

I've put some sandstone and cobble in the long chest behind Pie's house (not sure who put that there or what it was for, but since it was empty, I figured that's where I'd stick it )

That was gonna be a chest for my house renovations, but never got round to it.

Plans sound good to me (also, the steps to the side of the gate were me, wanted to see if it was safe outside before opening the door)

Pie you can't just call dibs on a whole mountain.
