There's some new chests, or at least they look new. Anyways, I think you need a high level pickaxe or the Drax to remove chests.

It looks like existing maps have been changed. Just walked past my Eater of Worlds arena and there's a load of shadow orbs, I'm sure I destroyed them all on this world.

I've been playing this update with some friends, and I've another single player character I'm mucking around with. So far it's been pretty fantastic, and just the smaller touches, like the palette swap enemies, are just really great. Rain mobs are also hilarious, the walking goldfish are so adorable.
