Since this game is going to be on the PS4 as a free to play title and it is already on the PC as a free to play game anybody with computers that can run this on here should get together and play it. From what I played it is like MAG in a lot of aspects but it is much smoother and doesn't seem as awkward as MAG. There are ships you can fly, tanks you can get in, and I think mechs are in the game? Not sure I haven't played it in a while. I will be downloading the game and I hope this is cross platform with the PS4. I don't see why they can't do that now with all the PS4 being awesome now.

Anywho if any of you guys are interested we can pick a faction and roll with it.

I tried it. It was hugely disappointing from the very beginning. It tosses you into combat without giving you the rundown on controls or any tutorials. My very first spawn was me being stuck in the ground. I couldnt move myself or the gun. Got raped. Got mad at the game for being instantly poor. Uninstalled it.

Yeah. That is one thing that was weird. But I am guessing they are going by it is just like every other FPS so just get out there and fight.

Bumping this thread.

Sony has optimized planetside 2 and made it run much, much better from before. I haven't played it myself yet but Ben has and he says it is improved.

Jokes aside, they really polished up the game. I've noticed that the load times seem a tad longer, but the game itself seems way more stable. I haven't had any moments at all that were unplayable, and I've been in a few larger firefights since the optimization patch. If you tried it before, and had varied results (40+ fps in smaller fights, but -125 fps in gigantic faction wars), I'd recommend giving it another go. Odds are that your issues will be fixed. I'm just pretty mad that most of my other friends who played have already rage-uninstalled the game because of its performance issues. ;.;

I've been playing Planetsolo 2 for a few days already.

Because I have been busy with work and school. :p I will probably play it after work depending on how tired I am or play it tomorrow. I have everything installed and updated I just need to play it.

Bumpin this bread. Who hear besides Ben and play planetside 2? I have over 100 hours in the game and I say it is the best FPS game/ experience I have ever played. If anyone want's to join me and Ben in Planetside we are on the Emerald server and we have characters in each faction so it doesn't matter what you pick. We have been playing vanu as of recent. Just post your usernames in the thread here and we will add ya and we can have some fun.
