I actually got something that can seriously help you out, dude.

Found this on IMGUR a little while back and it's fucking gold, so here ya go.

Big because that way you can tell.

also, somewhere on the mobo will be a sticker or an etched serial number or model number. google that, BAM instant details. :D

plus you'll need to find the manufacturer's site too, so you can get downloaded drivers and whatnots.

True that picture I showed WAS pretty much old, like pre 2009 in fact, so it's less useful for modern hardware, but it is still a very sexy chart.

If you can take a photo of the full motherboard, with nice detail of zoom so I can read what's on the chips at least, I can find you the manual and everything, almost guaranteed.

this may also be off topic but i have looked at the rig ax sudgested and it is a bit out of price but i have made a list of parts that i think is suitable for a simple rig i have a hdd and a diskdrive (sorry they are all links) will they be compatable

Hawh, sorry, thought you'd actually picked up the mobo. ^^;

Those parts all look fine to me actually.

Regarding the HDD, providing it's SATA you wont have a problem. If it's EIDE though, you are screwed. It has no EIDE on board, so you'd have to get an EIDE controller or something. The discdrive however? I... am assuming you mean like a DVD or BD-ROM drive or something? Again, if SATA, no probs, just make sure you have enough SATA cables. Otherwise you be fucked yo.

SATA for information and identification: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serial_ATA
EIDE for likewise: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EIDE (Yeah it says Paralell ATA but I've only known it as IDE, and EIDE being enhanced IDE It's like calling vaccuum cleaners 'Hoovers' over here. The brand name just sticks)

Also as a side note, that mobo looks p. cool. It's nice and compact but it's laid out in such a way that things don't appear like they'll get in the way of your graphics card or memory. I had that problem with one mobo I had. It was too compact and laid out in a horrid way so that I couldn't fit a graphics card I wanted in, simply because the graphics card would be in the way of the Sata cable connectors on the mobo, meaning I couldn't have connected any drives. Awful design. That one you posted though looks great.

One FINAL FINAL FINAL word of note, that graphics card? You're going to want to put it in the blue PCI-E slot nearest the CPU socket. That one's the PCI-Ex16 slot. The other one is a x4 which is purely for if you get an identical card and want to run it in Crossfire mode.
