I finished Normal yesterday. Level 30. I am going to be farming for gold so that I can buy some of the weapons and armor in the Auction House.

I was reading around the Diablo 3 forums and it seems that playing as a Wizard is your best bet in beating Nightmare and Inferno. Barbarian and Monk characters are going to have a tough time since they are in the enemies face while Wizard can just fuck shit up from afar. Same goes for Demon Hunter (which I am using)

Being serious for a second though, this does seem to be a little more than unsecured accounts. It would definately appear to be a full on hack rather than exploiting unsecured accounts. Its a bit scary really with real money auctions on the horizon - this shit could have real implications for many people.

All I know is that I am not fucking with the Real Money Auction House. To hell with that shit.

I think I been playing this game too much, I am already getting kinda bored.

I mean it is fun when playing with friends, but the farming for gold gets super old. The auction house makes it so there really is no reason to even loot shit when you can just buy it.

Yep, I pretty much quit playing today. Inferno mode was nearly impossible before the nerf, now I'm not sure if I can even play Hell mode. I went from 41k dps to 26k.

You know what REALLY sucks? People used real money in the auction house for their items just to have them nerfed. I'd shit in a box and mail it to Blizzard.

Shit is so fucking stupid.

So after 1.0.4 update happened, I decided to play some more Diablo 3.

Basically same game, only a lot of skills have been buffed. Elites/Champions do not recover health and the game has been overall a lot more manageable. I been having more fun actually. Currently, my DH is at 60k DPS with a skill that increases critical hit chance. Realistically, I am more along the lines of 30k, but still good to see those big yellow numbers hitting for a lot of damage.

Also, they added "Paragon Levels". Basically more levels for your character after you hit the level cap. There are 100 of these. Alongside stat increases, it also increases your Magic and Gold find. Pretty nifty.

Before, I had a tough time breaking 200k gold at a time. Most of what I had I pretty much spent on repairing my items. After the patch though, I now have over a million gold. Not sure if there is any correlation, but I am able to sell a lot more shit on the Auction House. Not in the millions like I see being on sale all the time, but I did sell a decent amulet for 200k.

Anyhoo, the game is fun. Still the same game overall, so it all depends on how much you enjoyed the core game. I am just happy that Blizzard isn't doing some stupid ass nerfs and instead added buffs.
