Bumpin this cuz I went back and played it. Having a lot of fun with it actually. A friend of mind gifted me some gold on there and I bought some weapons on the auction house.

My DPS is now at a base of around 60k, about 90k if I use the rune that increases critical hit chance. I don't put it in since I like having access to other runes.

Anyone fancy a game of this?

But after Diablo 3's expansion being announced, I wanted to check the game again and see how much has changed.

I'd have to sell everything I have to get on par with average players now that Blizzard opened up all the legendary weps and exotics. Do not want.

Might play the expansion pack if it's free, though.

How much gold do you currently have?

You can probably find some decent stuff for around 250-500k.

I bought a legendary for 100k on the Auction House. Maybe I just got lucky...

A little over 500k. All of my stuff is outdated though. I could probably get better drops from farming now that everything isn't so restricted..

Well if you want to play sometime, I will be randomly on.

I remember being stuck at Belial for a long time but I was able to get some cool weapons at the Auction House and it made it easy as hell. I did still die a few times, but it wasn't HOLY FUCK SHIT BALLS hard as it was before. I breezed through Act 3 with only a few deaths. The game feels more rewarding now IMO. After you beat inferno, you can make monsters even harder with Monster Power Levels.

My first attempt at Belial wasn't hard at all because it was before they nerfed attack speed. I fucked his shit UP. Same with that fart boss, except I didn't even take any damage from him.

I reached Belial AFTER the nerf so it was a bitch to beat him. I never did beat him up until recently lol

Crafting actually helps a lot now. Crafting armor yields great results now, I got some nice bracers and shoulders through crafting. Did not break the bank either, very cheap. Only problem is that they are account bound but they are still good.

You also get bonus magic find when there are more people in a game.

I died a few times at the end cuz of low health. I found a bitching new belt that increased my health by nearly 10k joke, I was at 30.2 health and then I went up to 40k. Added damage too. I am almost to 70k damage.

There was a technique I used against him. Basically you make sure all of your equip doesnt give you health but gives attack speed and restores your health when you hit an enemy. So Diablo would hit me, knock me down to 25%, and I would instantly regen to 100% when I hit him .5 seconds later. Worked pretty damn well.

I was using one of Demon Hunters buffed up skills that basically does this. Health goes back up really quickly AND it gives me a bonus defense buff of 30%.

In lieu of having Health on Hit, I been using armor that has resistance against all. Works rather well.

We need to raise the monster power level a bit. I say jump straight to 2. I been doing that on my own for a bit.

I just reached 80k of DPS. Shooting for 100k, that is my goal lol. I am willing to drop 10k health for greater DPS.
