AForOrange

Guyanese people, like my parents, tend to say orange "arrrr-ange". One day, someone asked me how to spell orange, and I stupidly said "A-R-A-N-G-E", that that little joke stuck with my friends.

I hate names with numbers in them, so I always have stupid names :D

MOTHER FUCKER

Steam is just having a sale, and the Valve Package is 33 bucks less. I paid 100 bucks for that shit, and two days later, a price drop? Man.... that's bullshit.

^ Man, I've felt that pain before.

plz feel free to add DeuceMcSizzles. I'm lacking in the games dept. ATM, but hopefully once some steady work comes in, I'll be picking up some of the more popular titles so you can all whip my monkey ass.

Ditto. Name's DogfacedGod, and I'm downloading TF2, just to have another online game where I can get my ass handed to me.

Do you have the computer to run it? If you couldn't run civ 5 or civ 4 then you will not be able to play TF2.

I'm trying to find the minimum requirements, but I can't find them on the main website or the wiki (mostly because the help page is refusing to load up right now).

EDIT: Son of a bitch. People are all excited about the game being F2P, so people are bombarding the wiki so I can't actually see the damn requirements. :x

EDIT #2: Fuck yeah, I got this. Civ IV takes a LOT more to run than this does, let alone V.

steam wrote:
Minimum: 1.7 GHz Processor, 512MB RAM, DirectX® 8.1 level Graphics Card (Requires support for SSE), Windows® 7 (32/64-bit)/Vista/XP, Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection

Recommended: Pentium 4 processor (3.0GHz, or better), 1GB RAM, DirectX® 9 level Graphics Card, Windows® 7 (32/64-bit)/Vista/XP, Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection

Right from the steam page.

Those specs are false because you need a lot more to run the game. If you want to run it decently you are going to need at least a 3.2GHz duel core or better, 2GB of RAM, and DirextX 9 grapics card that uses 512MB of RAM and that is minimum.

you have no idea what you're talking about. I ran it no problems with an AthlonXP 3200 (about 2.4Ghz Single Core), 2GB of PC3200 RAM, and a GeForce 5600

Terra said TF2 is a finicky one. Works on some low-end stuff but might not work on some high-end stuff. Best bet is just to try since it's free.
