So, I've been playing a lot of Dance Central 3. Yes, I downloaded Gangnam Style.

Harmonix knows what they're doing. Every time they release a new game in a series (Rock Band & Dance Central), there's something added that makes it worthwhile rather than just the same exact game with a new song list.

The fact that they included a story mode is hilarious, and as absurd as it is, it's a better/more thought out story than a lot of games released now.

Add-in that Harmonix is second to none with the way they handle DLC: Every song I've downloaded since Rock Band 1 or Dance Central 1 is playable in their latest games, and the fact you can import the old disc setlists makes it gravy.

That'd be like an FPS, let's say, Call of Duty, allowing the Map Packs you purchased in Modern Warfare 1 and 2 to be compatible with 3, in addition to all of the old on-disc maps. Instead they lump in old maps into 'new' Map Packs for the latest game.

That's completely ignoring the fact that Harmonix has to deal with licensing issues from various artists/record labels and the like.

Without a doubt my favorite developer of the generation, and the only one that consistently sticks to their mission: Have some fucking fun.
