Halo 4

Stupid internet got me all scared. I refuse to browse /b/, and I can't read comments on any other site related to Halo. Assholes are posting spoilers everywhere because the game leaked out early, just like it did with Halo 2 & 3.

Still, I am excited.

I'd like to say that I'll wind up playing this, but I have yet to play ODST and Reach, so that remains to be seen. Looks like it'll be good, though.

ODST and Reach were spinoffs, and 4 picks up where 3 left off. They're not really crucial to the story, they just give little bits of background and sidestory.

I know, but I actually have Reach in my possession, and I have yet to play it. I don't think I'm as big a Halo fan as I was at the start of the console generation. Then again, I don't have a Gold account, so I can't play the multiplayer, and I pretty much watched my little brother play through the campaign multiple times, so that robbed me of a lot of impetus as far as firing Reach up for myself goes. Maybe that won't be the case with Halo 4, but like I said, that remains to be seen.

I felt ODST and Reach were easily the 2 best campaigns in the entire series.

Looking forward to 4. Don't care if it gets spoiled, it won't stop me from playing. Shit blows up, MC says 5 lines or so, and he goes into stasis again until it's time for Halo 5.

At least, that's the story if they're going to follow the formula of 1, 2, 3....

Every time I start playing Reach something comes up. Once I put it down to have some freshly baked cookies from my mom and realized really this game is never gonna get played.

This makes me sad that I am not at Future now. Every lunch time was Halo time… I bet they are on 4 already.
