i don't care if they include wireless or not, but charging $100 for the wireless adapter is just fucking ridiculous and you know it. at most it should have been $20.

The wireless Network adapter is disgusting. That's microsoft with their heads up their backsides but I guess that's what everyone's trying to do, make a little moolah. They just went about it the wrong way.

I think people concentrate on this "Console War" way too much. People take so much pride in what they buy, and they wanna be "right". Because if they can't play a certain game, or they're not as cool as school because they have the wrong console, it looks bad on them. The way I see it, different consoles have a different feel. It's like a culture. Microsoft specialise in Games and Online gaming, which is great for causal gamers and serious gamers. Sony supply the most powerful processor and produce a *slightly* higher resoultion, with great features like built in Bluetooth or Wifi or whatever, connectiong to the PSP etc etc. Then Nintendo keep that family feel that no one has managed to out-do. New control options, intuitive and friendly enough to just get in, have some fun and get out.

Why can't everyone take Blokey's approach and love them all? Lets' be fair, they're all great. Albeit I'd never buy a Playstation (any but the first anyway) but I don't care whether it "wins" or outsells Microsoft.

I think the outlook in the future is quickly becoming about developers. The politics is great at the moment. We have EA, the coperate monsters of gaming, trying to outbuy everyone on the market, to eliminate competition (let's all pray that the smaller companies keep refusing as they have been doing).


AAAAanyway back to topic. I think it's be a mistake if Microsoft messed with Blu-Ray now. Look at the price of BlueRay disks? I don't think it'd be worth installing something so expensive for something so little used. I think the next console might be able to slap in the Blue-Ray much cheaper, saving cost. At the moment, if people want HD movies, they can download them from Marketplace!!!
