So a week on Friday, us limeys get our hands on the new Forza.

I played the demo last night and it was very, very good. The driving is pretty much the same (can't see how it could have been improved tbh) but the graphics? Jesus they're photograph-standard. When you go into the showroom and have a look at the car spinning around, choosing it's colour, I've never seen anything like it.

Gonna get the over-priced special edition, even though it's fucking me in the ass. F3 I got a usb key, a keyring, a sweet box. This one? I get a few extra cars

Anyone else excited?

I've had this shit pre-ordered forever ago. Love Forza even though I'm terrible at racing games.

I actually prefer Forza to Gran Turismo. And hey, at least we get one more than every 5-6 years.

I haven't played Forza but I do enjoy GT. Everytime I see the advert for Forza 4 on TV though I get so jelly I start wobbling.

I don't wanna Forza Vs GT, and there's a good chance we can avoid that given the lack of presence of a certain little minnie-moo-foo-foo, but I played GT and it felt very, very clinical. Now as I'm a big Forza fan I saw that as an immediate fun-sucking negative, but I know that's just my perspective from my current experience, and I'd like to change that by buying GT and absorbing it, I just have too much to play.

after playing both forza 3 and gt5 and like both games for different reasons forza for the design part and gt5 for the tracks i know and love.

There's no fence dude, just a big field with love for all games, and it's called UUDD!!!

Yeah, I adore the car design aspects in Forza. Some people make amazing things happen with those tools. It blows my mind.

I also like how Forza is as difficult as you want it to be. I don't know how GT is now, since I haven't played one in ages, but the different assist levels drastically change the game from fairly arcadey to complete sim.

Needless to say, it gives me a giant boner, and I look forward to it.

I can barely commit to one sim, nevermind two of them. But man Forza 4 looks amazing!

Fuck man, the Destructoid review makes this sooo damn tempting! I like Dale North's reviews and he's glowing about it.

It really is the top of the game. It's so fun, not empty and bare. There's so much to it, you can have car clubs, open your own garage and sell your own brand of modded cars, buy and sell second hand cars on the auction, buy and sell stickers, full designs, tuining settings, all that.

The racing is phenominal too, and you can make it as easy or as hard as you like.

What's that wheel like? I don't like the idea of it but I'd like more precision than the controller...
