Yeah man, Forza 4 has rekindled my love of racing games, it really does look (and play) that good. I seriously doubt I can go back to GT5 after playing this, Forza 4 literally shits all over it!

I know what you mean. I've put up with GT5 since release but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't let down by what we got. I'm not saying its necessarily a bad game, however Forza 4 is so good it really does make it seem bad. Forza is just brimming with craftsmanship and passion for motorsport, however by comparison GT5 does indeed seem flat, clinical, lifeless and unfinished. It literally has no soul.

It's as if GT5 has been left in a time warp, where PD have spend so much time updating graphics that they neglected every single other area of the game. The physics have barely changed since GT3, and the engine noises are relics of GT1&2 on the PS1. As for the cars, I can do without a dozen different versions of Skylines.

Forza has lots of what people want in a racing game but little of what people don't want. I've literally played it non stop since Friday, because it brought back all the feelings I once got through playing GT in the old days. The Forza series is literally the Gran Turismo of our current gen. I can't over state this enough, it's amazing.
