Actually I heard rumour that TGS was gonna announce a successor to the PSP...no luck? Wouldnt mind whatever they release next... |

New Monster Hunter PSP. Bigger and bulkier battery (but nicer grip), nice design, and a thumbstick with a concave surface, not convex. Looks sexeh. |

Ah right, thought the proper successor would have been announced. The PSP is great but there's no point buying a console when there's another round the corner. Might go for that red and black GoW coloured one then... |

The guys making the new Mortal Kombat said they had a PSP2 in their posession while they coded stuff for it, but just said "Its pretty powerful". Check out Joystiq or Kotaku for the story. |

As long as PSP games will be compatible, I'm content to wait for the PSP2. Can't be too much longer. If the PSP2 isn't BC, though, we're gonna have some problems. |

Sony couldn`t even get compatibility right with it`s current iterations of the PSP! Considering if they started from scratch with a DL-only portable, they`d probably have more success... |

Yeah they've gone to download-only but I've seen more support and love from them for the UMD-based PSPs than the crappy GO thing (what a fucking waste). Maybe GO was to test the waters. And it didn't look good. I'm thinking it'd be a good idea to go back to disc-based media, but I don't think there'd be enough storage on there for something as powerful as this sounds. Mind you, didn't the 3DS opt for some weird new flash card-type thing? |
